Port Pirie Clinic closure
YP VETS PORT PIRIE PERMANENT CLOSURE
YP Vets regrets to advise the permanent closure of its Port Pirie Clinic at 180 Ellen Street.
The reason for closure is the continuing lack of veterinarians compounded by loss of senior nurses due to maternity leave.
The lack of a permanent vet makes recruitment of suitable nurses problematic due to the ongoing uncertainty.
The future is further clouded by the impending redevelopment of the site we occupy meaning a relocation.
We thank you for your support and will continue to try to support the Port Pirie community where we can.
Mobile Visits:
Subject to staffing we will continue to provide this service with no additional travel fees.
Food and Long term medications:
Presently we are offering a twice weekly home delivery service for these items in the local Port Pirie area.
Phone us to place your order, pay over the phone, and we will drop to your door - home, work or safe drop off point.
Pet Histories:
We can email full histories to any vet clinic you choose - just have them contact us direct.
Vaccination reminders:
We will continue to send text reminders to clients for the next 12 months so you can make other arrangements if necessary.
Please call us if you have any other questions.
